The Birdcage

The bird feeder screamed at me: take a picture and make it monochrome. I asked the owner of the house first and he was ok with it.

The many faces of fall

The many faces of fall

A spider web covered in morning dew, hanging from a lamp post. I spotted it while I was in the attic and had opened a window. It was right in front of my eye.

Strolling in the Mist

Strolling in the Mist

Sunday afternnon was a beautiful light. Another photographer walked around and took pictures, so I took one of him. Taking pictures of strangers is tricky. I don't want people to be recognized so I either blur them or try some other setting. In the distance you can see the steeples of the Pilgrimage Church of Oggersheim

BASF IX

Taken on a Sunday morning in September with the light in front. The steam would erupt periodically from a pipe, so I was waiting patiently until it filled the right part of the picture.
